Aubrey Schultz

AUBREY SCHULTZ
B.F.A Musical Theatre, M.A Teaching
Marketing & Communications Coordinator, Teaching Artist

Aubrey has been in love with the performing arts for as long as she can remember. She grew up singing, dancing, and acting both on and off stage, but it was the inspiring atmosphere of arts education that led her to pursue a degree in musical theatre. In 2019, she graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Central Washington University. While in school, the most profound things she learned came from teachers who were not only passionate about the content they taught, but about the art of teaching itself. This inspired her to pursue a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Idaho State University. Aubrey enjoys theatre in all its forms, whether she’s teaching, performing on stage, watching from the audience, or blasting show tunes in the car. Aubrey believes that theatre teaches crucial life skills and offers a place for children to develop empathy for others, express themselves, and grow in their confidence.

Julia Bennett

Carpe Diem!

Elke has played a wide range of roles, but her favorites have been the strong passionate women she has portrayed including Philoclea in Head Over Heels, Kate in Air Heart, Beth in Little Women the Musical, and Mrs. Shears in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Elke is an eternal optimist and never shies away from a challenge! When she is not onstage performing or in a classroom teaching you can find her hanging out with her incredibly cute puppy, reading a romance novel, hiking around with friends, or overthinking her excessive use of exclamation points!

Julia Radandt

JULIA RADANDT
B.A. Theatre, emphasis in Directing and Design
Teaching Artist

As someone who feels passionate about theatre and education, Julia is so excited to be an educator for TVCT. Hailing from small town Idaho, they were introduced to theatre in middle school and have been chasing the exhilarating feeling of being on stage ever since. They were able to follow their passions into college, where they found love for all of the backstage arts that create such an integral part of this art form. While receiving their B.A. in Theatre, Julia was able to take some opportunities allowing them to educate an array of youths. Doing this pushed them to grow in their own understanding of how enriching arts education can be for students and teachers.

They love the fact that theatre is a collaborative art and allows us to be silly, serious, and anything humans feel in between. Julia likes to do lots of forms of art, in small amounts of spare time, to name a few, film, acrylic painting, crocheting, and playing power chords in their room.

Katherine Roundy

KATHERINE ROUNDY
B.A. Theater Arts
Teaching Artist

My name is Katherine Roundy, I am a wife and mother with a crazy, beautiful life. I’m also a recent graduate from Boise State University where I received my Bachelors in Theater Arts. The performing arts have always been an integral part of my life and will continue to be until my light goes out. I have performed in several musicals, plays and worked with many theatres in each state that I have lived in. I’ve had the opportunity to teach dance at a non-profit dance studio in Utah, performed several summers in Garden Valley, Idaho at Starlight Mountain Theatre (SMT), and several other community theatres here in the Treasure Valley. I work with youth during summer theatre camps at Idaho Shakespeare Festival and SMT. While living in Oregon I performed with community theatres in the metro Portland area. I truly believe that theatre inspires, and drives us to be more human and change the world in impactful and inspiring ways. As educators, we change the world one student at a time. There’s something to be said about someone who teaches theatre, we change the world whether we believe it or not, but it happens. Educators plant the seeds of change, excitement, hope, and they are given the opportunity to inspire and cultivate a love of humanity in their students even though it may seem impossible at times. I am very excited to be starting my journey here at TVCT and hope to create an environment where my students feel safe to express, inspire and grow in their love for theatre and the performing arts. Thank you for trusting me with your creators!

“…I haven’t given up hope yet, but I can wait, and I’m sure it’ll be all the better for experiences like these.” Jo March, Little Women, The Play

Elle Stempe

ELLE STEMPE

A love for theater and the arts carried her through middle school and high school, and she began teaching drama classes and camps to the next generation of theater kids in her teen years. Elle moved to the big city of Los Angeles to pursue her acting career and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in 2014. With extensive experience in stage and camera acting, improv, standup, and musical theater, Elle never lost her love of sharing these art forms with young children and students because of how it can enrich their lives in numerous ways. Elle is a strong believer in using art and theater to nurture the human spirit and teach us all about empathy and understanding one another.
